Surprise yourself with the wealth of the Austral Sky and visit the Wenumapu (Sky in Mapudungun*), accompanied by our guides and telescopes and realizing how small we are in this immense & beautiful universe where we are.
We will observe the sky, exploring Saturn and her rings, Jupiter's moons, nebulae, star clusters, the Moon, double stars, red stars, among other wonders of the universe. We will accompany the observation with information and complimentary elements in an ideal environment to experience a great journey to Wenumapu.

Included Equipments
Telescope
The telescope we use in our presentations are from the brand, Meade, telescope N 305/1524, 12 Inches, Lightbridge. It’s Reflector type optical system and Newtonian construction type. Transversal in its use that is ideal for beginners and advanced users.
Other Great Equipments
We have laser identification for objects in space, as well as high-reach Celestron binoculars.

Visibility
In the observation of the sky, we always consider the climatic factors that can have influence on this Experience, as well as considering the phase of the moon; the greater the lunar phase, the lower the visibility of objects in the celestial vault.
Cruz del Sur
Well-known as “Cruz del Sur”, Crux is a constellation that is only possible to experience from the southern hemisphere. It is exists out of four main stars: Ácrux, Gacrux, Becrux and Decrux, one additional and several surrounding.

Journey to the Wenumapu in Zenit Natural Area

In this wonderful experience, we will travel to our space set in nature, just 12 kilometers from Pucón, to observe the sky on the clearest and darkest night and thus enjoy the best way the rich Southern sky. Additionally, we can get a glimpse of the “lava sparks” of the active volcano with our telescope, if the conditions allow us. The program in stages goes as followed: 1. Brief presentation of specific and very attractive images as reference, 2. Observation and orientation of the sky with the naked eye, 3. Observing the sky with our Telescope and binoculars, 4. Ending the program with a drink, 5. Returning to starting point.

Zenit will visit the Hotel or Lodge that meets the conditions for proper observation and will carry out the program to the group of Travelers, who are staying in the same Hotel, with the darkest night and clearest sky, we will be able to enjoy the rich southern sky in the best way possible.
